Amedeo Modigliani
An Italian painter and sculptor in Paris known for elongated faces and necks. He died of tuberculosis at thirty-five in 1920.

Jeanne Hébuterne, a student at the Académie Colarossi, met Modigliani in 1917 and became his partner and main model; their daughter was born in Nice in 1918. She died two days after him in January 1920. She was a painter in her own right.
