Andrew Wyeth
One of the best-known American artists of the mid-20th century: a realist who painted the land and people of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, and of his summer home in Cushing, Maine. His father, the illustrator N. C. Wyeth, taught him as a child. He worked mostly in watercolour and tempera.
