Diego Rivera

A Mexican painter whose huge frescoes helped launch the mural movement in Mexican and international art. He worked in Europe from 1907, painting as a Cubist in Paris, and between 1922 and 1953 painted murals in Mexico City, San Francisco, Detroit and New York. He was married to the painter Frida Kahlo.
