Yoshida Hiroshi

A Japanese painter and woodblock printmaker, regarded with Kawase Hasui as one of the greatest artists of shin-hanga. A keen mountaineer who spent about half of each year on sketching trips, he also made prints of places abroad, from the Swiss Alps to the Grand Canyon.
