The artistic and design movements of 20th-century Mexico, especially after the Mexican Revolution, which adapted international avant-garde ideas while drawing on pre-Columbian art, Indigenous cultures, popular arts and contemporary politics. Its best-known expression was the mural movement of Diego Rivera, José Clemente Orozco and David Alfaro Siqueiros.
