Orphism
An offshoot of Cubism devoted to bright colour and pure abstraction, named by the poet Guillaume Apollinaire in 1912. Pioneered by František Kupka and Robert and Sonia Delaunay, it brought colour back into Cubism and is seen as a key step from Cubism to abstract art.
