Shin-hanga
A movement of early 20th-century Japan that revived ukiyo-e printmaking, keeping its division of labour between artist, carver, printer and publisher. It was started and nurtured by the publisher Watanabe Shōzaburō, and flourished from about 1915 to 1942.
